8* (a) All factual disputoa arising hereunder shall be docidod by the Contracting Officer, subject to written appeal within thirty (SO) days by the Employee to the imcdlate superior of the Contracting Officer; the Employee meantime shall diligently proceed with the performance of his duties hereunder.

(b) Wherever the term "Contracting Officer" Is used In this agreement, it shall include tho present Contracting Officer and all successors in office.
